This week I went on a cheesecake making spree! I became completely obsessed with little fruit canes all nicely lined up and this was the only way I could think to use them. The photo below shows the fruits (excuse the pun) of my labours:
Each cheescake is just under 7/8 of an inch in diameter. You can get a better look at them in my Etsy shop, although I have been far too lazy to list them all at once. I think I've had enough of kiwis, bananas and cherries for one week!

Yesterday I went to Leeds Dollhouse Fair in Pudsey. It was the first show I'd ever been to so I didn't know what to expect. Now I have nothing to compare it to, but I thought it was a really good day out. There was a good mix of handmade artisans and suppliers, so something for every taste and budget. Also, there was a good selection of products such as food, furniture, dolls, houses and crafting supplies. It certainly gave me lots of ideas and inspiration, and I also discovered some great places to buy all those 'finishing touches' for my pieces. I shall hopefully be back next time!

This week I finally completed my 12th scale sandwich shop, which I will hopefully be listing at http://www.littletimewasters.etsy.com/ soon. I love it when a set has lots of little interesting components. I also tried to glue down as little as possible, as this makes it more fun to play with. Here are the fruits of my labour:
The little sandwiches were fun to do. There are egg slice, salami, chorizo, ham and cheese on offer. Also in the set are the ingredients to make the sandwiches, so a ham board, a salami and chorizo board, a cheese board, a bowl of loose eggs (they go EVERYWHERE), some loose tomatoes and a whole salami. For after your sandwich you can buy a piece of fruit from the blue bowl, or a bottle of cola. It all comes in a little brown bag. Oh and you can add mayo if you want, but I think mayo is gross. Yuck!
